New Ibis Instruments generic solution - IBIS ESB / BPM

Ibis Instruments have created a new generic Solution, IBIS ESB/BPM, which enable implementation of complex business processes. Core components of the Solution are: catalogue of business entities (e.g. products, services, information’s), business rules module, business processes module and integration module. Using those four module it possible to model and automate very complex business processes in complex IT environment. Solution is open and scalable for extension with additional modules, such as Web frontends, Workforce management, etc.

With this Solution, customers will be able to:

  • Centralize business rules and enable their further changes directly by business people without incorporation of IT stuff.
  • Automate and monitor business processes execution in complex IT environment
  • Implement common data model for given business domain
  • Gain control over integration aspects within your IT environment
  • Lower operation and maintenance costs
  • Provide flexibility through implementation of SOA in relation to integrations
  • Introduce standardized frameworks, like: TMForum Frameworx, ISO 20022 (Swift) Edifact and similar.

Some examples of business need that Solution enable at our customers are:

  • IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) provisioning: Solution automate process of activation, changes and deactivation of customer services, realized through multiple technical services on one or more service platforms. Solution realize generic provisioning framework, which enables fast and easy integration of new systems. Both transactional and batch provisioning modes are supported.
  • WebShop Application: Within Solution selling catalogue and set of offering business rules for order establishment are implemented, as well as provisioning functionality enabling service activation on different service platforms or systems. Solution is extended with Web frontend module.
  • Solution for customer solvency check and fraud prevention: in selling process, Solution performs various checks of customer, defined by business rules, collect customer data from various systems and decide on allowing or denying specific request.
